Franschhoek Cap Classique and Champagne Festival 2011
It's Champagne and Bubbles time again this December at the Franschhoek 'Magic of Bubbles' Cap Classique and Champagne Festival. This years fabulous event takes place 2nd December 2011 to 4th December 2011. This years event which takes place over the whole weekend promises should be marked down on your social event calendar. This is a great opportunity to get to taste some of the best Champagne from France along with South Africa's finest wines. The Champagne Festival is set in beautiful Franschhoek with a grand marquee set up on the wonderful grass lawns that surround the Huguenot Monument. There will be a number of stalls at the event providing the Champagne Bubbles and the local restaurants will also have their own stalls offering delicious food to try. Franschhoek has a reputation as one of the premier culinary destinations in the world. Tickets for this event cost R180 per day and are available in advance from webtickets.co.za or will be available at the event on the day.
